On Sept. 29, 2023, the feast of St. Archangel Michael and all holy angels, Sr. Maria Immaculata Maierhofer OCist. received benediction from the Generalabbot of the Cisterican Order, Dom Mauro-Giuseppe Lepori OCist.
At the end of the Holy Mass, the Abbess, M. Immaculata, thanked “the many who have supported us since the founding of Marienfeld through their prayers, sacrifices and gifts, and their benevolence and numerous help. Like Mary, we want to serve God humbly and participate in the salvation of souls in secret. With our prayers and sacrifices we accompany all those whom God has entrusted to our spiritual service and who commend their concerns to our prayers.”
