Matka Christiane Hansen, przeorysza z Helfty, została wybrana na 44 opatkę w Seligenthal. Postulacja miała miejsce 9 maja podczas wyborów, którym przewodniczył Opat Generalny, jako Padre Immediato w Seligenthal. Dzisiaj, 24 czerwca 2023 r., po otrzymaniu wszystkich zezwoleń ze Stolicy Świętej, O. Bruno Robeck, Prezes Kongregacji św. Gertrudy delegowany przez Opata Generalnego, przekazał jej urząd opatki w Seligenthal.
