Neue Äbtissin in Seligenthal

Mutter Christiane Hansen, Priorin von Helfta, wurde zur 44. Äbtissin von Seligenthal gewählt und eingesetzt. Anlässlich der Wahl vom 9. Mai 2023, die unter dem Vorsitz von Abt Mauro Giuseppe Lepori, Generalabt und Vaterabt der Abtei Seligenthal, durchgeführt wurde, postulierte die Gemeinschaft von Seligenthal Mutter Christiane Hansen von Helfta. Nachdem Pater Bruno Robeck, Präses der Kongregation der Heiligen Gertrud von Helfta, die erforderlichen Genehmigungen vom Heiligen Stuhl erhalten hat, konnte er Mutter Christiane am 24. Juni als Äbtissin von Seligenthal einsetzen.
