Resignation of the Abbot of Wettingen-Mehrerau

 
On July 12, 2018, Abbot President Anselm van der Linde resigned for personal reasons from his office as abbot of Wettingen-Mehrerau and as abbot president of the Congregation of Mehrerau. His resignation was accepted by the Holy See on August 1, 2018. In anticipation of the abbatial election, Fr. Vinzenz Wohlwend was nominated apostolic administrator of the abbey.
