Abbot Jean Vuong Dinh Lam of Phước Sơn died after a long illness, which he endured with serenity and patience. He was 89-years-old and had 67 years of monastic profession and 64 of priestly ordination. He was president of the Congregation of the Holy Family in Vietnam from 1970-2005, offering a precious and fruitful service for his Congregation and the whole Cistercian Order. We remember him with gratitude in our prayers to the Risen Lord!
