The Incorporation of 4 Monasteries of Women into the Congregation of St. Bernard in Italy


The chapter of the Congregation of St. Bernard in Italy, which met at Chiaravalle in Milan and was presided over by the Abbot General, who is currently Pro-President of the Congregation, accepted unanimously the requests made on December 6, 2017 for incorporation of four monasteries of women: San Giacomo di Veglia, Cortona, San Severino Marche and Agrigento. The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life granted this incorporation on April 5, 2018.
